Owner/chef Aldo Maresca serves up fine authentic Italian cuisine in a charming and relaxed atmosphere.
Aldo moved to California from Sorrento, Italy four years ago after meeting his American wife, Barbara. Together they opened Aldo's Ristorante. In the first year of business, the restaurant was voted "Best Italian Restaurant in Los Gatos" by the Los Gatos Weekly Times Survey, November 1998.
Aldo's specializes in good home cooking— food that is fresh with lots of flavor. The menu has lots to choose from and there are daily specials as well— including lobster ravioli in a champagne cream sauce with baby shrimp, and veal chop stuffed with proscuitto, spinach, and blue cheese in a porto wine sauce.
Italian background music and an outdoor patio add to the ambiance of this "Little Italy" on Winchester Blvd. Special events, including Opera Night, an annual Halloween party, wine tasting dinners, and more, are open to the public.
