“Aldo’s” is owned by husband and wife team Aldo Maresca and Barbara Lonsbury.

Aldo came to America in 1993 from Sorrento Italy. (Sorrento is located just south of Rome on the west coast of the Mediterranean.)

While working in an Italian restaurant in San Francisco, he met his American wife, Barbara.

They were married in 1995.

Aldo is a chef who had worked in all areas of the restaurant business.

Barbara is an accountant and businesswoman whose background includes working for 3 publicly traded corporations.

They both had a dream to open their own business.

In 1996 they took over “La Strada” restaurant that was located on Main St. in downtown Los Gatos.

After a successful 2 ½ years, they moved their business to its present location on Winchester Blvd in Los Gatos.

“Aldo’s” specializes in fine food in a relaxed atmosphere.

Italian background music, an outdoor patio, and friendly service all add to the ambiance of this “Little Italy.”
